2008 Victory Kingpin™ Tour

I love this motorcycle, very smooth, very dependable ! extra comfortable & handles like a dream, out corners the other bikes I ride with Hands down the Best motorcycle I have ever owned. I'm a big guy 6' 314 lbs

I currently own an 08 King pin Tour. Maybe a little late for this review but I have owned it since new for four years now. I purchased this bike because I wanted an american made bike but did not feel that a Harley was worth the money. The dealer talked me into this bike telling me it was ten times ... better than a harley in all areas, had more power and would hold its value. I quickly found that the Victory is just an overpriced motorcycle like Harley. Just days after purchase I had a sqeel in the brakes. Dealer kept saying that they could not hear it and found no issues several times. I had friends with loud exhaust that could hear the noise over their bikes. Finally found on my own that the rear rotor was defective from the factory. Called Victory several times and eventually had to buy the parts myself and install them. This to me should not happen on a bike that cost me 18,000. Customer sevice sucks from the dealer and Victory directly. Had a performance issues from the begining which the dealer and Victory would not correct either. Had to take the bike to Lloyds in New York to actually get it to run decent. Honestly the bike never let me down so I can't say it's completely bad. But for the money that Victory is charging for these things I didn't feel I got anything close to what I paid for. If you want the image than buy a Harley because at least when you realize it's a piece of shit you can still sell it for closer to what it's worth than a Victroy. If you don't care about and image than buy a Jap bike. They are cheaper and will out perform any American p.o.s bike on the market.

Just bought my Victory kingpin Pitboss trike on July 30,2010.Both my wife and I are very happy with it.One small problem will be solved as soon as a front stabilizer bar is found.It is a show stopper.Will be doing some add ons,and as soon as it is completed will forward pictures.

Uncomfortable seat, chrome rusts quickly,small things go bad such as head lamp low beam bulb blown, rattlng coming from 2 into one exhaust, blown baffles in stock exaust, resale value is terrible, don't concentrate on American made or you will be disappointed. Take the money and buy stocks while ... they are low not a money pit.

Great bike, with terrific ergonomics and styling. Tour package blends in well with the bike and is almost un-noticeable. Take the bags off and you have a great looking cruiser. Plenty of power with very throaty sounding exhaust. Extremely smooth ride! If you want something creative and unique with ... alot of thought put into styling and power...this is the bike for you!
