2008 Ural Tourist 750
Best valued sidecar on the marketBy (I am an Owner) on Jul 05, 2010
I bought my URAL Tourist brcause I needed something that wouldn't fall over when I stopped. The possibility for a tip over exsisted because of a knee condition. Bought sight unseen via the internet I was concerned about all the (wrong)stories I had heard about Russian gear. None of the stories was ... true. My URAL is a quality machine. The welds are neat and deep, the paint was great, It rode comfortably. The first 1000 or so kilometers the engine seemed to lack powre but as time went on and the mechanical parts all seated it ran better and better. This is a normal occurance with the URAL, it needs some breaking in. As for maintenance...I dod all my own and it is a breeze with URAL. It is a simple durable machine that anyone with a tiny bit of mechanical sense should be able to handle. I bought the maintenance disks and they were very helpful. Getting parst is easy as the dealers cvarry all you will need and you can get through the mail. I love my URAL!
