Hyabusa on d High
By (I am an Enthusiast) on Sep 10, 2010Think Suzuki or Think Hyabusa..... The first thing that comes intothe mind is Speed. Even if the Hyabusa was born more than a decade ago and has become a speed icon for motor enthusiasts.
The Hyabusa has been given the most highly accelerating bike on the Earth. It has a fantastic ... wing cheating ability owing to its bulbous lengthy structure. It comes with a 4 pod analogue instruments and a Suzuki's Drive Mode selector which can switch between 3 modes.
Moving on to its remarkable Engine.... It now comes with a 197 bhp peak power output with bump up displacement of 1340 cc. The maximum torque for the bike inn the present is 15.7 kgm at 6200 rpm. Its a super-rocket on bike crossing 250 kmph easily with a top speed roaring past 300 kmph. The bike can move past 220 kmph in just an amazing time of 10.26 sec. It has a tank capacity of 21 liters averaging an economy of 20 kmpl. For the buyers, it would cost some around USD $26000.
Wrapping up with the Vehicle one can only say that - "THE HYABUSA IS A FAMOUS AWKWARD LOOKING A BIKE AS POSSIBLE. WHILE MOST OWNERS WILL FIND ITS WALL OF POWER IMPOSSIBLE TO SCALE, THE UNBELIEVABLE ACCELERATION, SUREFOOTED STRAIGHT LINE MANNERS AND ACCEPTABLE CORNERING ALL COME TOGETHER TO MAKE ONE HECK OF A MOTORCYCLE. AND ITS AS EASY TO RIDE AS ANY MOTORCYCLE THAT DEVELOPS A POWER CLOSE TO 200 HORSES. AT LAST TO SAY : THE HYABUSA IS FOR THOSE BRAVE ENOUGH TO SCALE THE MOUNT EVEREST OF MOTOR CYCLING, PROVIDED ONE CAN AFFORD IT."

JLS Hayabusa 08
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 14, 2008Traded up to the 08 Busa from a GSX 1300 2007 model and pleased to do that as I found the GSX was too unstable and unsafe couldnt keep up with a 1990 VFR750 Honda who thrashed 2 Porches on a windy outback highway here in NZ
The Busa is a great bike mine is in Blue and has Yoshimuras ... fitted, Oxford heated grips and Ventura Back pak for touring. The bike has now completed 1800km only hitch which was a manufacturers faukt was the twisted ignition cable which has been fixed.
I am not an expert at riding but like most no my limits
Positives for the bike
* Huge amount of torque
* Very stable at high speeds
* Pleasure to tour at 110 -120km per hr as their is no pressure on wrists or shoulders could cruise all day at this speed.

Overkill
By (I am an Enthusiast) on Aug 26, 2008This bike is way too fast for the street, and its not very nimble for the track. So unless you're going to be doing a lot of drag racing, or highway racing, which are both extremely dangerous, then its not really the best bike at all.
My take on the Hayabusa: looks cool, sounds ... cool to your friends, but is not practical at all.
