Good Choice
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 01, 2011Bought the bike for both gas savings and recreation haven't been disappointed with either one. Rode 300+ miles to attend a ride and then rode back at the end of the day. Lond day but loved it and was comfortable the whole way.

Great Bike
By (I am an Owner) on Aug 28, 2011I bought mine on 04/15/08, then after the break-in and oil change, I went to florida from texas on it, 944 miles one way, with 54.4 mpg, and it rode and handled like a dream. The noisy shifting concerned me a little, but it's normal for that bike, so the dealership told me. A few months later I experienced ... my first, and only problem thus far. The speedometer and instruments quit working, and it took my dealership 2 weeks to figure out what was wrong, a short in the wiring harness under the seat by a faulty connection. Since then I have'nt had a single problem, although I do'nt care for the plastic rear turn signals. I still get the same gas mileage too.

Great Bike
By (I am an Owner) on Dec 16, 2010I purchased my c50t in July, 2007. It now has 32,500 miles. I have had no problems other than routine maintenance. I change the oil every 2500-3000 miles and do other recommended maintenance. My wife and I rode it 3000 miles including a few hundred down the Blue Ridge Parkway. The last day of ... that trip we drove 75mph home for 9 hours...long day. The bike performed flawlessly and still runs perfect. We've been on other trips too, great marriage helper.

Fantastic bike!
By (I am an Owner) on Jul 16, 2010I bought my C50T as my first motorcycle in July of '08 as a left over '07 new out of the crate. I've since put over 17,000 miles on it in all kinds of weather and absolutley LOVE it! The rear tire is finally done and needs replaced, but I've had no other problems. I get around 47mpg on the highway, ... and have gotten as high as 55mpg. It's very comfortable and handles well. It always gets mistaken for a Harley and people are usually suprised it's a Suzuki. It only lacks in very top-end power, but for legal riding it is ample.

Great Bike
By (I am an Owner) on Mar 07, 2009I love it. Great bike I average about 48-49 mpg. Great mid weight cruiser. Moslty used for comuting to work in the summer months due to living in Montana, but can cruise with the big dogs on trips to the Yellowstone and Glacier Park with no problems. The ride is great, no vibration fatique, maybe ... a mild sore hind quarters if on it for a long stretch. Handles great, I have the LN hard bags, and back rest and about 5500 miles since purchased in September 2007. I had not one problem with the machine. No plactic problems etc, and we sometimes have lots of loose gravel on road around to scratch it or crack up lens etc. Would recommend this bike to any one. My dealer S&S sports has been great to me.

Been a great bike!
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 03, 2008I read the users review of the bike about plastic issues. I have put 6800 miles on mine and have had zero problems (knock on wood, err, plastic). I did install a backrest for the driver.
I purchased mine for $6300 off the showroom floor.
I think I get about 45 mpg, ... but I go a bit faster than 65.

C50T Review 18,000 + miles
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 25, 2008I am very pleased with the handling of the bike and the appearence. I first started having concerns around 6K miles. The turn signals, head light lense and the rear light plastic all started to crack and then fall off. The dealer replaced the parts twice but the problem still continues to exist. ... No real response from Suzuki. The windshield also has been replaced once and now at 17500 is cracking also. They will not replace it even though I have an extended warenty.
Except for the plastic problem the bike is just great. The gas miliage is around 53 mpg driving at 65 mph. Engine and transmission are fine with no problems.
