BE WARNED!

I had an idling issue occur in May 2012 on this scooter. One of the service technicians, from my local shop, actually watched the bike idle/stall and stop. He wrote up a report on it and misconstrued the facts I gave him, before it was serviced! Weeks went by before I called to receive an update on ...the bike to which I was told, it's being worked on and you'll receive a call back with an update! No call was received that day, the next, or 3-4 wks later! Finally, on August 1st, I took it upon myself to explain I was leaving town and needed the bike, immediately! Within 24 hrs, I got a call from the mechanic working on the bike, telling me it was done and ready for pick up! It was done alright! There was a bill waiting for me for over $435 for an EUC assembly kit and labor costs , on the bike! And, I was told the bike was no longer under warranty so I was stuck with the bill, even though it was only 2 yrs old and had 4200 miles on it!!!! I tried desperately to get Kymco USA involved and have them cover the cost of the part that rarely, if ever, goes bad on this bike!!!! Kymco has chosen NOT to cover the repairs and is not very considerate of you, as a customer, during the life of there bikes! Read Full Review
