  • From viewpoint of sport touring rider
By  (I am an Enthusiast) on Nov 08, 2012

Been riding M/C for many years. About 3 years ago I bought a Kymco Super 8 150cc.Loved it, it's great for around town. Its 14" wheels made it a very agile scooter. But I sometimes had a need to get on the freeway briefly especially when you live in Orange County So Cal. So I bought a secondhand Grand ...

Highly recommend Kymco ( do not buy cheap chinese scooter )

Keep the rubber sides down!!! B. Pham

  • Great Scooter
    By  (I am a Writer) on Apr 27, 2012

I have 64 miles on the Grand Vista, I am 5'10, and 270 pounds, have no trouble doing 65 miles and hour with it. Only problem I have had was with the engine idle, but with a trip to the Dealer and ten minutes, problem solved. Great scooter a little rocket, for the money you get alot. Well appointed.

If you are considering a maxi-scooter - you should really give this one a test drive. I have compared it to Honda, Yamaha and Piaggio and for the money - you get a lot more with Kymco. The warranty is outstanding at 2 years and for a small amount of money - it can be extended to 5 years with unlimited mileage. Well worth the cost.
