2004 BMW R 1150 R
Solid and fun to ride every day.By (I am an Owner) on Jun 28, 2019
I bought this bike off the showroom floor in 2004. It now has 47,000 miles on the clock. If you keep the tires fresh and well inflated this bike will always perform well. Cruises through corners as fast as I want to go and passes everything on four wheels, even in top gear and on hills. Jus roll ... the wrist and bump the left grip. The windshield I bough installed by BMW is worth it to get the wind off your chest.
I regularly cruise at 75 to 80 and feel so comfortable that I stay out too long. My wife thinks I am fooling around with some girl. It is just that fun to hang with this sweet German gal.

Not going to win in acceleration races but fabulous sport-touring bike, handles great in the twistys and equally comfortable on a 500 mi day burning up the flat highway. Just rode to FL and back from Wash DC over Christmas and it ran like a charm without as much as a hiccup. Buy it, you won't be ... disappointed if your looking for a good all around naked sport-tourer.
