I'm interested in any changes people have made to sports bikes to make them more user friendly for touring, commutting, etc.
I've been considering picking up an older litre bike (Fireblade 954, older R1, GSXR 750/1000 K4, etc)
and 'softening' it by using handle bar risers, lower rearsets, better seat.
Has anybody altered a sportbike in this fashion? Or just made alterations to make the bike more usable for commuting, light touring, etc?
