The new U.S. secretary of Transportation gunned her Harley-Davidson down a quiet residential street, looking very unlike a presidential Cabinet member.
Mary Peters, Peoria resident and former director of the Arizona Department of Transportation, was taking a break Monday from interviews to show off her other transportation passion, motorcycling, before heading to Washington today for a public ceremony confirming her federal appointment.
