West Virginia Riders is making the program "Rider Forecast" available for free download from their website.
This program uses the internet to deliver a weather report at the click of a mouse: general conditions, actual temperature, "feels like" temperature, percent chance of precipitation, dew point, humidity, and wind speed. Rider Forecast generates the report based on the user's zip code. The report is split into hour increments for the next half day.
Rider Forecast's manual mode provides a printout of the weather report simply by double-clicking its icon. Automatic mode, which requires a more detailed setup, can deliver a weather report to the printer at any predetermined time -- for example, just as your alarm goes off, your weather report is waiting for you each morning.
