2006 GSX-R600 & 750
What we have here is a pair of no-holds-barred race bikes. Or to put itsimply, they are Suzuki GSX-Rs. All new for 2006, the GSX-R600 (pictured, below) andGSX-R750 (pictured, second page) appear to have identical specs, aside from bore, stroke, FI size,graphics and the color of the diamond-like coating on their fork tubes.Looks like this means the 750 is actually a 600 chassis with a big motorin it. Yikes! Both bikes wear a variation of the classic GSX-R
blue & white paint scheme, with styling cues straight from the GSV-R MotoGPbike.
Say what you want about solid colors looking better than racer replicapaint schemes and I'll generally agree with you. However, on a GSX-R Ithink this look is spot-on perfect! These are aggressive lookingmachines, with that whole clean/purposeful racebike thing oozing fromevery pore. The new Tuono has me excited, but I think it's this newGSX-R750 that I'm most anxious to flog.
Stay tuned, MO will be sure to fill you in as soon as more details becomeavailable. In the mean time, I'm going to try and figure out a way tosneak the new 750 into the AMA's Formula Extreme class.
