Hyosung coming to the USA as ''Hyosung''?

There are rumblings that Hysoung is coming to America with thier 650's and won't be going through AlphaSports Motors. This could be an interesting move for Hysoung as they attempt to live up to thier tag line, "Ridden by The world." I hear there could be Hyosung dealers selling Hyosung branded 650's in the US by early this spring. We will have to wait and see. I don't have any hard evidence but I do have reliable contacts I have made through my research on korider.com.Not exactly a catchy name, eh MOFOs? But, "Honda" probably sounded silly to Americans way back when... ...regardless, what's in a name? Well, some just don't cut it. Take Datsun, forever associated with cheap cars -- an image they never could shake -- while Nissan and Infinity have better connotations. Then again, Datsuns were cheap cars, so was it a cruddy name first, or rustbucket cars piling on bad branding? Was it the chicken or the egg, huh? It doesn't matter. The more people that ride, the better, and flooding the US with inexpensive starter bikes can only help the cause. --MO
