Ducati Multistrada 1200 at Long Beach IMS
The new Ducati Multistrada, named Most Beautiful Bike in Show at the EICMA show in Milan where it was introduced, will be displayed for visitors to the Cycle World IMS event in Long Beach, Calif.
We are very excited to launch the technologically-advanced Multistrada to North America at the world's largest motorcycle show series, says Michael Lock, chief executive officer of Ducati North America. The Multistrada 1200 is a unique model for us since it really attracts all types of riders. It is not only powerful and playful, but also a comfortable and versatile adventure on two wheels.
Ducati bills the Multistrada as being four bikes in one with Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro riding modes. Power and torque delivery, suspension settings and traction control can be adjusted while riding to adapt to a riders needs.
The Multistrada will come in three different packages. The base Multistrada 1200 with optional ABS retails for $14,995. The Multistrada 1200S Sport adds Ohlins suspension, ABS traction control, tire pressure monitoring and carbon fiber components for a ticket price of $19,995. The Multistrada 1200S Touring also retails for $19,995 and comes with Ohlins suspension and ABS but heated grips, hard luggage and a center stand instead of the carbon fiber parts.
