Over 100 million Honda Super Cubs produced; this is how it's done

Since 1958, Honda has produced more than 100 million Super Cubs. As we approach the 60th anniversary of the Super Cub, Honda released a video showing how they are assembled at its factory in Kumamoto, Japan.

The model featured in this video is the newly revamped 2018 Honda Super Cub 110. Also available as a Super Cub 50, the latest iterations of the ubiquitous Hondas maintain the model’s classic shape, but receive new LED headlights and detachable side covers.

100,000,000 Honda Super Cubs: How many is that, and what does It All Mean?

Once the subject of the famous “You meet the nicest people on a Honda” campaign, the Super Cub is sadly no longer offered in the U.S. However, Honda did recently show off a new Super Cub 125 concept (pictured below) at the Tokyo Motor Show. Powered by a 125cc motor (likely the same one used on the Grom), we’re hoping it will make it over here if Honda decides to put it into production.

The Cub is a far more useful bike than the Grom. Hopefully we get it someday.
