Scrambler 1100 Pro also getting a Dark variant

Motorcycle.com has learned the Ducati Diavel 1260 is getting a special Lamborghini edition version for 2021.

Both companies are, of course, part of the larger Volkswagen family (for those keeping track at home: Ducati is a subsidiary of Lamborghini which is a subsidiary of Audi, which is a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group), not to mention neighbors in Bologna, Italy, so this bit of corporate synergy shouldn’t be much of a surprise.

The information comes to us via documentation from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency which certified the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini alongside the regular Diavel and its S variant for the 2021 model year. All three variants share the same 1262cc V-Twin engine with Desmodromic Valve Timing as the 2020 model.

The special edition variant will carry some Lamborghini branding, but it’s unclear how else it will be differentiated from the regular Diavel.

Also getting certified for 2021 is a new Dark variant of the Scrambler 1100 Pro, along with a number of returning models.

Check back here on Motorcycle.com for more information on the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini, the Scrambler 1100 Pro Dark and other 2021 models as it becomes available.
