In June 2005, I purchased a new Kawasaki 1500 Vulcan from Fun Bike Center in San Diego off the showroom floor. Wanted the bike for an upcoming summer trip with friends. Good price, staff was nice and helpful. I rode the bike for approximately 400 miles, when it would not accelerate above 40 mph. ... I drove the bike back to the dealer, explained the problem. Service Tech said its under warranty and he would take a look and get back to me.
Three days later, got a call, said bike all fixed. I got a ride into Fun Bike Center to pick up my bike, they rode it out to me. I told my son who gave me the ride, he could leave, the bike was ready. They wanted $250.00 for the service charge, which I paid reluctantly. I rode approximately 1 mile, when the bike started doing the same problem.
I rode back to the dealer, asked them? did even test ride my bike. No answer. They took the bike back in for another look. Had to call to get a ride home because these assholes, said no to a loaner bike. Many days of calling to check on my bike, I was told, there still looking into it, but they cannot pull the motor without Kawasaki's ok.
Three months later after missing my trip, the bike was finally ready to go. Fun Bike Center could have cared less about me or my trip. All they cared about was the sale at the time.
I have purchased two bikes since then from another dealer. I'm now looking to buy a 2019 Kawasaki Voyager. I can tell you honestly, I would never go back to such a piece shit dealership that is, The Fun Bike Center of San Diego. They ruined my summer trip, not even a loaner bike.
Kawasaki great bike. Let the good times roll.

I was a customer some years ago and one day I ran into a situation with one their service intake people that pressed all of my discomfort buttons. Smarmy, slyly disrespectful, impatient, and altogether what has come to be known as an asshole. Took the matter up with their front office who simply ... blew me off. For all the years that I did business with this outfit, I expected some courtesy and respect. Ever since they moved into their new extravagant location, this outfit has become overbearing and trade on the attitude that they're better than the customer. Each time that I dealt with them at their new location I got a distinct impression that I was getting ripped off. I've been a biker for more than 45 years and I judge the attitude of the staff at FBC as odious, off-putting, and altogether stupid in the extreme. But then ... I'm just sayin'
