Bimota to Replace Kawasaki in WSBK
Today is April 24.
That’s important to note, as it was the very first thing I checked after Kawasaki announced its pending departure from World Superbike racing for the 2025 season, transferring its factory team under the brand of its partially-owned subsidiary, Bimota. The news was the kind of surprise you would expect for an April Fools gag, but as I checked several times, April 1 was several weeks ago.
2024 Kawasaki Ninja 500 Review – First Ride
Kawasaki has been dominating the realm of entry-level motorcycles, especially with the introduction of the Ninja 400 in 2018. In fact, they were so capable and enjoyable to ride that I bought one myself and it has become one of my favorite motorcycles in my stable. The Ninja 400 wasn't perfect, and I had my gripes about it. So, of course, I was very intrigued by the unveiling of the new Ninja 500. As luck would have it, I was fortunate enough to find myself invited to a press launch for the new Kawasaki in Malibu, California, to see what this new machine is all about. The Malibu area hosts some of the best canyon roads in the United States – a perfect proving ground for testing the new, larger displacement Ninja 500.
Recall: What Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R and ZX-4RR Owners Need to Know
Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. (KMC) has announced a recall affecting a select range of its motorcycles, specifically the 2023-2024 ZX400S and ZX400P models. This recall, identified under NHTSA Campaign Number 24V221000, includes the 2023 Ninja ZX-4RR KRT Edition, as well as the 2024 Ninja ZX-4R and ZX-4RR models. The core issue prompting this recall is the potential damage to the motorcycles' spark plugs, which occurred during the manufacturing process.
Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid and Z7 Hybrid Are Coming to America for 2024
Kawasaki announced it is bringing its Ninja 7 and Z7 Hybrid models to the U.S., bringing the world’s first mass-produced “strong hybrid” motorcycles to America. Both models are available immediately at American Kawasaki dealerships, each priced at $12,499.
Evans Brasfield's Motorcycles Are For Sale
In the aftermath of Evans' passing, his family has had to make a lot of hard decisions. One of which was deciding what to do with Evans' beloved motorcycles – his KTM 790 Duke and Kawasaki KLX300. And when I say beloved, I mean it. Evans had reached a renaissance in his riding career. With his children older and more independent, he was able to rediscover his love for motorcycling. The 790 Duke gave him a lot of joy, and upgrading it to meet his definition of a 790 Duke R was a source of pride for him.
Best Sportbike of 2023
Yep, we know this one is a bit of a shocker. How in the world can the Kawasaki ZX-4RR win our Best Sportbike of the Year award? At close to $10,000 and less than 60 horsepower (in stock trim), we’ve clearly lost our minds. Well, it comes down to two things:
Church Of MO: 2008 Kawasaki Concours 14
If you've been riding for more than a few years you know that the Kawasaki Concours has been around for what seems like an eternity.
2024 Kawasaki Ninja 500 and Z500 – First Look
From the moment we learned the Eliminator would be equipped with a 451cc Twin, we started anticipating when Kawasaki would put the engine on its entry-level Ninja and Z models. To no surprise, the answer is “right away,” with the announcement of the new 2024 Ninja 500 and Z500.
