Will never sell mine
By (I am an Owner) on Mar 01, 2011I have been riding for over 30 years. EVERY make and model. Dirt street sport cruiser american japanese italian and european. THis is the best most versatile bike I have ever owned.
It does everything well.
Wanna go for a long weekend with passenger.....load the hard bags and go. ... Great Highway comfort.
Wanna go play in the dirt, adjust the shocks leave the bags at home and GO! TOns of fun !
Wanna do a track day.....or outrun "squids" on bikes that more hp than the riders ability. :-) then adjust the suspension and blow em away!
Dead durable engines, a friend has an 885 model 1997 with 150,000 PLUS miles and dead reliable. MIne has never left me stranded or given me any issues.
I am thrilled with this bike the FUN factor is off the chart, PLUS when you go to a ralley, or just the gas station people LOVE the bike ask questions tell you stories of there fathers Triumph or brothers triumph and on and on. It draws a crowd and you will almost never see another one at a bike night :-) Will never sell mine, when I get to old to handle 2 wheels......she will be getting a side car. period.

Best Kept Secret
By (I am an Owner) on May 15, 2009The older TIger is motorcycling's best kept secret. If I've owned twenty motorcycles over the past 30 years, my 2005 Tiger is the best all rounder. It does everything, and does it all great.
All kinds of power. Handles great, hard bags and matching topcase, great range. Very comfortable. ... And you can ride over gravel, dirt grass and berms.
Some didn't like the looks. I like 'em fine.
Triumph has their own line of Triumph Off Road Exhausts. You don't need a Power Commander. THe dealer electronically installs the proper fuel injection map for the TORS exhaust system. The Tiger absolutely screeeams!
