Always a sucker for a pretty Ninja
By (I am an Owner) on Feb 10, 2021Bought the 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 650 in November 2020 as an upgrade from the 2016 300. First impression was it is pretty nice. It is fairly quiet, smooth acceleration and breaks evenly.
The riding position is a little more upright than I would have thought/liked but would be a lot more comfortable ... on longer distance rides. Seat height is a wee tall for me at 5'5", not quite on my toes but not flat either.
Controls are easy to read, day/night mode of the console is a nice feature. It links to your phone via bluetooth but the app feels more geared to the H2.
The one aspect I was a bit sad was I felt it should have a bit more power especially coming from a 300.
Overall, I am still very excited to have this beautiful bike! And feel that the more I ride it, and go through the break in period it will be better.
