First Honda
By (I am an Owner) on Feb 12, 2019Had both generations of Hayabusa, a Zx14 , 1200 Bandit, R6a 2 x BMW . Just bought an eleven year old Honda CBR1000 Fireblade, and I'm absolutely impressed with this bike. Considering it's age, it still feels new. The handling and braking is outstanding, as is the performance. Ok, it's not as grungy ... as a Busa, but so much fun to ride. Best bike I've ever had

Repsol 2007 Limited Edition_153/300
By (I am an Owner) on Dec 17, 2014I owned a Repsol CBR 2007 model.
It's an awesome bike. I have covered a total
Of 42,123km in Australia. Start from Perth to Melbourne to Queensland and New South Wales. The bike did'nt
Give me much trouble. I love the bike dearly. Nothing
Compare to any other bike. The ... Power is extreme. Always dragging my foot peg on the tramac.
The only thing i added was a Power commander
. I did try some lap in Perth racing track, oh..was it's was nice . Now i know why Honda make a damn good bike.
Cheers
nice

Lacks reliability
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 03, 2010Fun to ride, looks great, not reliable. I had to replace the stator after only 2200 miles. I have owned the bike for over 3 years. This is the third bike I have owned and this one has given me the most problems.

My favorite bike so far!
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 30, 2009Im a 35 year old female rider, going on my 20th year of riding motorcycles. I've had them all, starting out on a lil 50cc when I was 5! I rode dirt til I was 16 then moved to cruiser style bikes, the last one being a 2003 HD Sportster, 1200cc. I rode a friends R6 and was hooked! My first bike was ... a 636 Ninja, I put 17,000 Texas miles on her in 11 months and the dang thing was falling apart, despite having never been down. Plastics rattling, seat was harsh. I moved on to a 750cc GSXR and put 13,000 the following year. Same thing. Shoddy workmanship, pipes rattled, bad fairing buzz. I loved the styling, but clearly you pay for the "gixxer" name.
In August of 2008 I was lucky enough to find a 2007 black/red 1000R at a great price. Today I rolled over 15,000 miles without one issue! This is such a solid bike. I can't get over how it feels just as tight as on day one, something the other two brands were lacking. Power is amazing. My motto is, know your limits and this bike is a prime example. After 20 years of riding just about every bike out there, this bike keeps me in check. I'm short, about 5'4, but with riding boots I don't feel overwhelmed because of the great weight distribution. I ride everywhere (no cage for me!). The longest I've been on a single trip is 1,028 miles in less than 24 hours. I'll admit I was a tad bit sore, but hopped on her the next day for some joyriding once we reached our destination. My GSXR felt a lil top heavy but the CBR sits just right. Mines perfectly stock and looks just as good as it did on the showroom floor, despite a harsh winter outside in DC. My only issue is pulling up next to guys on their 750's and 600's, they always wanna show off knowing they're beside a chick rider on a bigger, better bike!! The 636 and the 750 left me wanting more, now the only "more" I want is another CBR, I love the new paint schemes! My advice is this, CBR all the way. Forget your buddies and their gixxers, when it comes down to it, Honda owns the road!

By (I am an Owner) on Oct 31, 2008Hi, my name is james! but my rider buddys call me uncle, because i'm a 47 yrs male and my buddy are between the age of 18 to 30. I own a 2007 red CBR1000RR and i got it brand new from hondapowersport, see because of my age everyone i talk to wanted me to purchase a harley or a cruiser even my wife, but ... i believe if you are going to but something with cash$$$$ get what you want, now back in my day there were no such thing as a sportbike(monster)
like these.so many to choose from so i desighted to go with the cbr1000rr,because it a honda and the stealth look and being honda friendly.me personal i think i made the best choice in bike/this thing have loads of power,it got my buddy saying they wish they will be able to ride like me when they get my age? I been riding for about 12 yrs but stop because of drugs and alcohol,I been clean as of 11/01/04 for 4yrs thank god, because with this bike(drugs&alcohol)do not mix noway-nohow.I had not riden in 15yrs.but when i jump on this beast it felt like we were made for each other, put my cbr1000rr next to any bike and my stand alone from start to finish, where they at,I just added a power commander, blk windshield, jardine slip-on,now even my church members nod their head and smile when no one is looking. Now for the harley rider i just tell them to put up or shut up.Bottom line is i love my CBR1000RR, i have the red and blk one,so if your are riding in wilmington,De and you see a red and blk blurr ZOOM BUY YOU it most likely ME! uncle on his CBR1000RR, LOOK OUT UNCLE IS COMING!RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

07 CBR1000rr Repsol
By (I am an Owner) on Oct 28, 2008What a fantastic bike! I have had this since early 07 and have loved every minute. The handling on this bike is world class once the stock suspension is tuned properly for the riders weight. The only modification I felt was necessary was a set of Heli bars to add a little more comfort for those ... loooong rides (400+ miles). I have put on an average of 12k miles per year riding mainly on weekends.
Ride it, Get it, Keep it!!!

A fabulous bike....
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 28, 2008I have a 07 CBR1000RR and it has been through a lot. An accident before 200 miles, (even tho its my 5th bike), a little off-roading here and there, as my parents own 10 acres that i frequently visit, and with me riding it everyday as my daily, it now has 12,500 miles on it, and i have owned it 11 ... months. The bike holds up well to any abuse. The bike is just all around great, has plenty of power, has agility that i know my skill could never take to the limits of the bike, it is not a hard ride, comfy for a few hundred miles, and made to last. That's why it wears the Honda badge. It eats tires, like any bike with tons of power, because they use super soft rubber compounds to accommodate for lean angle and high speeds. I'm on the fourth set of tires, fifth oil change, and planning for another one before Christmas. Honda has a great "Gold Card" program that when you buy it, they pay for your labor and oil changes and routine maintenance for three years, so i definitely have that, plus the extended warranty that covers it for a total of five years. I have a aftermarket Movistar Telefonica kit on it, but it turns out that those kits do not hold up well to any sort of damage. The bike has been dropped about three times at very low speeds, besides the accident, so it needs a new kit, which i have been piecing together thanks to ebay, and will soon be black/metallic gray, just like a factory bike. It looks nice right now, just needs a little help. With a hot bodies exhaust and aftermarket filter, integrated rear taillight, front flush mount signals, a more padded seat for a little more comfort, this bike is by far my favorite bike. I would recommend this bike to any experienced rider, but not to a beginner.

Liter Rocket
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 18, 2008Purchased my 2007 CBR100RR Silver and Black in September 2007. First thing I noticed was the power everywhere. It cruises effortlessly on the highway while maintaining respectable gas mileage. Suspension response is almost intuitive and it initiated turn in almost flawlessly. I say almost as the ... rear suspension is set up somewhat stiff, and if you are a lighter rider such as myself, the rear suspension should be set up by a professional to suit your riding.
Fit and finish is great although it lacks a gas gauge and gear indicator, but those can be lived without. Overall exceptional bike, and I will be a 1000RR owner until I'm old and gray.
Another great benefit is the online support, and the best bike specific online forum is full of 1000RR owners.
