Slight Dropped from Castrol Honda

By Brent Plummer, Oct. 19, 2000
Motorcycle.Com just received word that Aaron Slight will no longer race for the Castrol Honda squad. There were rumors, but now it's official.

The team's decision to remove Slight from his post comes after a World Superbike season filled with ups and downs, some of which led to speculation that Slight himself wanted to retire at the end of the year...

500 GP Honda racer Tadayuki Okada is set to replace the Kiwi on the Castrol Honda squad. He will join Colin Edwards, the newly-crowned Wold Superbike Champion, on the factory RC51 (VTR1000SP-1 in Europe).

Motorcycle.Com will provide updates as they become available.
