FIM World MX USGP at Glen Helen preview
The event will see the FIM Motocross World Championship compete on American soil for the first time since 1999. AMA riders such as Jagermeister KTM s Mike Alessi, Troy Lee Designs Honda s Ben Townley and Motoconcepts Yamaha s Kyle Chishom will also compete against the international racers.
Defending MX1 Champion Antonio Cairoli leads the FIM racers. Cairoli currently leads the MX1 World Championship with two Grand Prix wins. Factory KTM riders Cairoli and Alessi will compete on the new 350SX-F. Alessi finished second in the AMA Motocross opening Hangtown Classic, helping the new KTM machine find success in both series.

Other FIM MX1 stars expected to compete are Yamaha Monster Energys David Philippaerts, Rockstar Teka Suzukis Clement Desalle, and Kawasaki s Sebastien Pourcel, the older brother of 2010 AMA Supercross Lites East champion Christophe Poucel.
Competing in the MX2 class will be series leader Marvin Musquin of Red Bull KTM, Teka Suzuki s Ken Roczen, Kawasakis Steven Frossard and 15-year-old Red Bull KTM rider Jeffrey Herlings. From the AMA ranks come riders such as KTMs Tommy Searle, DNA Shred Stix Star Yamahas Broc Tickle.
The main event races take place May 30. Tickets for the event at the San Bernardino, Calif., track are still available.
