After quitting his job last year to travel the world by moto, which is nice work if you can get it, Joe Tustin took off again in May for Patagonia on his KLR650. Everything was going reasonably well until he got to Nicaragua, where there’s some kind of a revolution going on. Who knew? Anyway, there’s an interesting story about his adventure over here at The Daily Beast.

Timely piece...Good read!
It is definitely disturbing that little or no news of the situation in Nicaragua has been brought to our attention. This sounds more dire than Venezuela.
On the positive side, the author was helped by several fellow motorcyclists, proving that comraderie goes beyond borders. And being on a bike saved him. No way he was getting through that in a car.
