Oh my goodness… “in every squad of troops, whether they’re learning to stick bayonets in other troops, to peel potatoes or merely to ride motorbikes, there’s always at least one whose special role is to be picked, whose special skill is to get things wrong. Here there are two: number 23 and number 5.”

This six-minute vid combines several of my favorite, and most feared things: shrill drill instructors, off-road motorcycle riding, and Monty Pythonesque slapstick. It doesn’t hurt that the smoldering two-strokes we’re attempting to ride appear to be some kind of old CZs possibly commandeered during the Big One. RIGHT, off ya go then…

Was this before enduro riders were taught to stand on the pegs??
Doesn't seem to be much "training" going on. More like "survival of the fittest". Those who survive this ordeal will be picked. Punishing them instead of teaching them the proper technique.
