With all-new model announcements and major revisions and upgrades to already great machines from various manufacturers so far, the 2019 new off-road model season has yet to disappoint, and has delivered good news to pique just about any rider’s interests. The latest manufacturer to pull the veils off of what they’ve been cooking up is Kawasaki, and their biggest news comes in the form of an all-new, completely-redesigned 2019 KX450.

With Monster Energy Supercross having wrapped up two weeks ago, the Outdoor motocross season is upon us, and it all starts this weekend at Hangtown in Rancho Cordova, just outside Sacramento, California. There’s a lot to look forward to this summer. Can Eli Tomac defend his title? Or will Jason Anderson come out swinging fresh off his Supercross Championship? There’s also Ken Roczen to consider, how will he fare coming back from injury?

Just two rounds into the 2017 season we’ve seen 5 different racers stand on the podium which leads us to believe it’s going to be an exciting season of outdoor motocross racing.  We want to know, who do you think will be the 2017 outdoor motocross champion?

Okay, I admit I’m pretty out of touch when it comes to Supercross. I enjoy watching sports that I slightly know how to participate in (even if it was decades ago), but I just haven’t ever been able to relate to that much flying through the air. I love riding dirt bikes when I get the occasional chance, but stadium Supercross has about as much to do with how I ride a dirt bike as a Saturday morning softball game has to do with the World Series; they’re almost not even recognizably similar activities. They’re really even further apart than that. I wouldn’t be afraid to stand at the plate and listen to a 100-mph fastball sizzle past me (doubt I’d be able to see it), but I’d be terrified to hit a triple wide open on a modern 450. Or a modern 250. Or a modern PW50.

When you’re around motorcycles as much as I am, it takes a lot to impress me. However, for this week’s Top 10, I bring to you 10 moments of supreme bike control that have done just that. More than just a saved highside or a 12 o’clock wheelie (both of which are no less impressive), each of these moments puts on full display the sheer talent these riders possess.
