Triumph Motorcycles has introduced a new feature to its advanced Showa semi-active suspension, enhancing the all-new Tiger 1200 range that made its debut in November 2021.

I must preface this review with the disclaimer that this is the first Beta I’ve ever ridden. I’ve had the opportunity to spend time on various other two strokes in this genre, but the 2021 Beta 300 RR is the first from the Italian brand that I’ve had a chance to get out and ride. So don’t expect a thorough year-to-year comparison. I just can’t do it, captain!

Once again, we’re here to announce that the Yamaha Ténéré 700 is still not available. Surprise. What is available though, are some rad photos and video of rally racing legend, Stéphane Peterhansel ripping the T7 prototype through the Moroccan desert which once hosted the famous Dakar rally up until 2007. Next stop for the 2018 Ténéré 700 World Raid: Morocco. 

As is the rest of the world, we at MO are excited to be one prototype closer to the U.S. release of the 2019 KTM 790 Adventure R. KTM chose the Sardinia, Italy stop of the KTM Adventure Rally June 20-22 to release a prototype version of the 790 Adventure R, piloted by none other than extreme enduro guru, Chris Birch. Chris rode the prototype for the duration of the rally and his quote is what we are all hoping for:

Colorado native Scott Bright has been competing in various forms of motorcycling racing for more than 20 years. Focusing his efforts on rally and enduro-style events over the past years, Bright has been a force to be reckoned with in the art of off-road racing. After winning the Baja Rally Championship in 2014, Bright took a nasty spill while filming an Icon Raiden promotional video a couple years later, suffering two broken arms among other injuries. That didn’t stop the determined racer, and months later after plenty of painful rehab, Scott competed in his first ever Dakar Rally, finishing 53rd overall.

Recently, we compiled a list of the Top 10 Cruisers for tall people. The premise was simple: you’re a tall fellow (or lady), and the majority of motorcycles out there just don’t feel comfortable to you. Your knees rub against your elbows, and the bars can be too low for your liking, placing unwanted weight on your wrists. Cruisers provide a great solution for those gifted (cursed?) with extra inseam, as the foot forward position helps spread the body out some. But cruisers also place more weight on a rider’s tailbone, which can cause comfort issues.
