2015 Yamaha FZ 09

First off I never take time to write reviews,in fact this is my first. I'm 43 years old and have been riding since I was 9. For the past 25 years I have been on nothing but v twins and the occasional dual sport tucked away in the corner of the garage. A couple of years ago I just got bored with riding(it ... happens) always wanted a Goldwing,tried it and decided that wasn't what I wanted either. Too big and its' basically a car on two wheels and not much fun. I came to the conclusion I'm getting old and lazy and didn't really feel like wrestling around 7 to 800 pound bikes anymore, so I ran across the Yamaha bolt,fell in love and bought the first one the dealer had on order. I had that for a year and a half and really enjoyed it but after awhile it began to sit. Excellent bike but then the excitement wore off.(just another twin)Went to all the dealers not knowing (for the first time)what the hell I wanted. Now mind you I have rode a few of my friends super sports and I knew that's not what I wanted to ride everyday so my one sales rep. said try one of these (FZ 09) and I said it's neat looking but I never considered even trying a bike like that , just ride it he says. 20 minutes later I bought it and have been grinning ever since, this thing is awesome! Light,nimble and more torque and speed then I could ever want. Just pure fun. Go try one. The best therapy money can buy, and only 8 grand you can't go wrong.
