  • best 50cc scooter in my opinion.
By  (I am an Owner) on Apr 13, 2011

I own both a zuma and a honda ruckus. Im surprised to see the ruckus higher higher up on this listing and a honda metropolitan even higher. a met and ruckus are pretty much the same but different body. why one has a higher rating? I dont know.

The zuma is an awesome scooter. lots ...

its one of the last few 2 stroke scooters around. A 2 stroke has more torque than a 4 stroke scooter. It has a manual thumb choke that I like because you can take the choke off right away instead of waiting for a bystarter choke to warm up. So, you have power right away .

the newer zumas have storage under the seat, which is nice. but the newer models (2008-2010) are speed restricted. A easy modification to the throttle fixes this problem.

    Ive owned a 2001 and own a 2009 now.

great 2 seater scooter for in city riding.
