2013 Yamaha V Star 1300 Deluxe

I bought my 1300 deluxe new at a Denver dealer. It was a great deal at the end of 2013. I have had the bike over 2 years and 10,000 miles and it has been flawless. Extremely comfortable and travels well. I've been on 2 long trips with it and it averages 45mpg. It keeps up with traffic and handles ... like a dream even in the city.

Upgraded from a VStar 1100 which I really liked. This bike is just awesome the ridge is great has good acceleration and is really enjoyable to use.

With a 36 degree lean angle this cruiser will rarely scrape a peg. The exhaust was a little loud for my taste but mellows out at speed. The gps has all the mounts necessary to mount on another bike or in your car so it isn't tethered to just this bike. That means XM Satellite and hands free phone ... calls are at your reach away from the V-Star (neither are very viable while on the bike). Wind protection is adequate once a set of fork mounted deflectors are added. The engine is strong and prefers the midrange over low rpm. Bags are sturdy and 4 point mounted (two back and two bottom) for rigidity.

Had three back operations. Own a 400cc yamaha scooter now. Because I was unable to shift. Now before I'm in a wheelchair. I'd love to own a nice bike. #1 on my bucket list. LOL
