  • Fantastic Bike
By  (I am an Owner) on Jun 16, 2013

The only reason to sell this bike is for a larger tourer or Scooter. This bike does it all. Passing power is there. 14K miles and has never seen the shop for repairs of any kind. Been riding 30+ years and never had the combination of performance vs weight and reliability of the V Star 1300.

    Ride ...

  • LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT
By  (I am an Owner) on May 19, 2012

This is the first bike I've ever owned and I couldn't happier with my decision to purchase a 1300. Not only did I get a really good deal, I got a motorcycle that is so comfortable to ride on, sit on, and an amazing bike for a first motorcycle.

  • Best Bike Ever!
By  (I am an Owner) on Mar 05, 2012

I purchased my Vstar 1300 in December 2011. It is a used bike, but I got a heck of a deal on it. This is also my very first bike, and for a woman, most people think I'm nuts. I'm glad I did go with this particular model, it has all the power that I could ever want and handles smoothly. It seems ...

  • Totally pleased
By  (I am an Owner) on Mar 27, 2011

I bought my bike on Feb. 29th, 2008. The stock rear tire didn't last long, but I expected that. I've put 24K miles on it now and am still blown away by the power, handeling, and performance of this bike. I have no desire to even look at other bikes, and won't trade this one in for as long as I ...

  • Great bike for ladies
By  (I am an Owner) on Feb 11, 2011

Bought V Star 1300 for my lady after several months of choosing. She is very happy with the motorcycle. It is lightweight, powerful and comfortable ride. At the same time price is not high at all.

  • 1300 V-Star Monster
By  (I am an Owner) on Jun 09, 2009

I purchased my 1300 in June 2007. Have added a straight pipe and cold air induction. Runs awesome. Best bike for the money, comfortable, always starts and gets good MPG. Estimated to be putting out 100hp with modifications.

  • Great Ride
By  (I am an Owner) on Sep 16, 2008

The Vstar 1300 had almost everything I was looking for when I moved up from the Suzuki C50. It was fuel injected like the Suzuki, had a belt drive for low maintenance, and non-wire wheels because there are a lot of nails on the road here in SoCal. The only thing it's missing is a fuel gauge but ...

The 1300 is a powerful, quick bike but is surprisingly nimble. It pulls strongly up to around 70 MPH in second gear and will cruise comfortably at speeds in excess of 80 MPH. I've had it up to 90+ with little buzzing or vibration in the bars or on the boards. Although it's a heavy bike, I find that its low speed handling is a bit better than the C50, which is a great bike btw.
