Great
By (I am an Owner) on Jul 08, 2010I purchased this bike from a one owner that had less than 2000 miles on it. Boy was I sure lucky to find this. I have recently have put Vance and Hines slip on exhaust and it has worked out very well. Since then my bike has gotten better fuel mileagae and better "snort". It sounds great and now ... it was a looker and now people see me coming with a roar.
I couldnt be happier with this bike and if I ever change out of this one, I will be getting another Yamaha.

2007 V-Star 1100 Silverado
By (I am an Owner) on Jun 16, 2009Positives: Super looking bike, with one of the best paint jobs in a production bike. I love the styling and retro lines. The engin provides plenty of power, and the bike has an excellent clutch and brakes. Overall, this bike is an exceptional value for the price.
Negatives: There ... is considerable engine vibration at speeds over 65 MPH. Sometimes my eye glasses shake so much that the highway becomes blurred....really! The bike seems top heavy to me. When it starts to tip, it's difficult to keep from dropping.
