2009 Vespa GTS 250

Bought this "new" 2009 in Feb '11. This scoot is an absolute riot. Understated POWER. Took it out for the first time in March. Road it in to the wind and topped 76 mph before I let off. Simply understated...unbelievable quick start. This "scooter" is definitely man's bike. I'm more than impressed.

I road a 82 GW Asp. for 23yrs. This GTV250ie is top shelf. I bought it in Aug 09 & just LOVE it. I put a larger wind screen on it & a side stand. It seems to me (now) it was worth every penny I spent for this Scooter. What a DREAM to ride. TX....

Its Jan 2,2010 today - 53 degrees outside (just north of Houston Tx) and I just got in from another "just for fun" 100 mile ride. 80mph on I-45 and 55mph thru the national forest. Scooter is solid as a rock. I'm 280 lbs/6'1" and this 09 gts 250 is all the bike/scoot you'll ever need. 2500 miles ... since august and it doesn't miss a beat. When I go the bike hang outs it is always a hit. Small crowds gather around it and just smile. I average about 60-65 mpg but I ride it fast most of the time. Its got class, its well made and worth the premium price.

I really don't know how you could build a better scooter than this. It has everything: styling, performance, comfort - I am thoroughly pleased. Bought it on Dec. 23rd and have about 1000 miles on it now. Have ridden a 140 mile tour accompanied by a 2009 HD Ultra Glide and had no trouble keeping up. ... Separate 164 mountain tour solo was pure pleasure. Have run interstate @ 80MPH, although that takes some getting used to. Averaging 80 MPG, mid-sized windshield and top box.

I expected a lot, and it's better than expected.
