VESPA IS AWESOME!!!

It's now September, 2010 and I just purchased a "new" Vespa LX50. My bike is the yellow color andit is nothing short of just awesome. I love to ride it throughout the neighborhoods and it affords me the chance to get out of the hose for a change. I'm 62 years old and this is like freedom... to me at it's best. This scooter's seat is a 2 person seat and it is VERY comfortable as compared to the Honda Metropolitan scooter I also own. The Metro is a great machine too except the size of the Met compared to the Vespa is very different. The Vespa wins hands down in size and performance in my opinion.
I highly recommend a Vespa LX50 for anyone looking for a thrill of thier life. Remember, you get what you pay for!

The LX50 has enough power to go up those hills with ease. I weigh about 200 Lbs and it carres me very well. I'm also about 5' 7" and there is plenty of room for me or someone that is 6' or larger. The gas mileage will be a no brainer. Do you get over 100 MPG on your SUV? The Vespa has a little over 2 gallon tank size so that is a plus as well. The "ONLY" thing I don't like about the Vespa is the way their turn signal work. The turn signal switch is just "too smooth" for me. Hard to tell when I have them on or off at times expecially when the sun is so bright and I can't see the blinking on the dash. That's the ONLY thing I don't like, but the rest is just awesome!

Great scooter

I have had my Dragon Red LX50 since July and I love it!! Had a nice Yamaha 50cc scooter before and it was great, but the Vespa beats it with its quality, performance and looks! Now coming into winter and will miss my daily rides, but look out when Spring arrives. The more I ride it the more I enj...oy it. Read Full Review
