I bought my new 2007 UM 650T in May of 2008.the engine is V twin, with 2 carbs, and 4 valves per cylinder, this combination gets you up to 70 in no time.it runs on 91 octane. You cannot stand on the left side of the motorcycle and start it, the ignition is placed so far out of reach on the right side that you either have to walk around the bike, or sit on it and really stretch to find it.
