By (I am an Owner) on Dec 29, 2008The Daytona 675 Limited Edition is full of surprises and they are all excellent. From the comfort aspects to performance, I am nothing short of impressed and satisfied with my purchase. Although I have only clocked up 2300km and the longest days ride 550 kilometres, the ride was all fun. It bites ... in on the corners, has lightning pick-up and feels well balanced. There is the odd other bike with physical appeal but nothing matches this motorcycle.
I have ridden motorbikes since 1970, beginning with a triumph and now ending with one, since I can't see myself ever wanting to sell this model. All the bikes between have been Jappas: (Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda and Yamaha)
There was a little doubt about whether I should go this way, as a 56 year old, but no regrets the bike actually improves your riding.
I still have my original motorbike, a 1957 Triumph Tiger Cub bought in 1971. It still runs well but there is no longer any fun or incentive getting this 'ol dog' out ....... not now I have the best bike presently available and very light at 160kg dry weight.
