  • Scrambler test
By  (I am an Enthusiast) on Jul 05, 2009

Hi I have ridden the Scrambler for more than 16000 miles in 2 years. It was love on first sight whne I saw this bike and I bought it with 1000 miles on the clock. We have done lots and lots of alp crossings.

Plus: its a great bike to park- you meet a lot of people asking questions. Its reliable ...

There is not that much negative to say. I really love it. But we divorce this week. For a triple that looks boring, doesnt cause emotions and no good night waving...But is a lot lighter and so great to ride.I feel bad, but......

For months I had been thinking of trading in my '98 VFR800 on a new Sprint ST, but when I saw my Scrambler in the Triumph showroom I wanted it--no test ride needed. And because it was only $7,999, I kept my Interceptor. The Scrambler looked FUN just sitting still, and riding it is still fun every ...

  • I love my 2006 Scrambler
By  (I am an Owner) on Nov 13, 2008

I raced Triumphs in the late fifties and early sixties and it was love at first sight when I saw the new Scrambler.

No vibration, excellent acceleration, and very easy to maintain. Very light handling and will go essentially anywhere I want to go.

    I have taken 250 mile rides ...

By  (I am an Owner) on Oct 18, 2008

I am a big Triumph fan and the Scrambler does not disappoint. The Scrambler delivers tons of fun for experienced and new riders alike. Don't go by the specs. To ride this bike is to truly enjoy why we all ride. It does nothing exceptionally well but it does it all and puts a huge smile on your ...

My olny complaint with my Scrambler is that my dealer closed about a month after I bought the bike. That mmakes getting parts and accessories a mail order affair.

It is probably the most fun bike I have owned in a lot of years. It handles wonderfully, even on the trials type tires and it gets ...

Quality is maybe not quite up to Japanese standerds, but still very good.

Performance also could be a little stronger, but it is fine for the use the bike was designed for.

smiles for miles is probably the best way to judge this bike, and it is a "10" on that front.

Full in lust witht he Scrambler the first time I saw it in the flesh. So many memories of life in the `60's and `70's flooded my soul that I had to have it. Bouth it in September of `06. Put a bit over 10k miles since then. About 80% paved, with a bit of mild off-roading and plenty of dirt roads. ...

Swaped out the shocks for IKONs, changed the fork spring and added Thurxton adjustable caps.

Even after two years, this bike still make sme grin every time I ride it and I'm still looking for excuses to just jump on a ride.
