Overated, but who cares?
By (I am an Owner) on Jun 25, 2014So many reviews start: I felt intimidated as I approached the Beast"! Are these journalists receiving payment to write such drivel. I bought a 2011 on the strength of these reports and I have never been so disappointed with a bike. Yes, it's powerful; yes. it has amazing torque but maybe I am getting ... cynical in my old age but I ride it around, frequently using full throttle and I have never felt my arms were being wrenched out of their sockets or arrived at my destination with a huge grin on my face. It is a nice bike but as to the raves about its performance it is a total let down. Having said that, I have owned mine for 3 1/2 years and am just about to purchase a new derestricted model so ignore what I have written. Buy one and arrive with an inane grin on your face ! !

triumph rocket roadster 2011
By (I am an Owner) on Mar 06, 2012growing up in the UK I would look at the triumphs in the showrooms and the oil drip pans underneath them but always opted for a japanese bike for the power and reliability. but over recent years the quality performance and reliability of the triumphs is equal or exceeds other brands. Last year I ... bought my first triumph A 2011 triumph rocket 3 roadster this is by far the best bike I have owned performance handling are excellent around town I get 38-42 mpg and on the highway 42+
