Old Faithful
By (I am an Owner) on Feb 18, 2009I was never a "cruiser" fan and certainly wasn't in the market to buy one, but when I saw this two-tone beauty at the local dealership, I fell in love!
I was immediately drawn by it's classic good looks, classic lines and the Triumph craftsmanship. The fit and finish of this bike is exceptional: ... from the high-quality chrome to the hand painted pin striping. Although there are lots of after-market accessories available, I don't have the desire to change a thing (definitely a first for me).
This bike provides a natural, extremely comfortable seating position while the handlebars and all controls fall exactly where they should. The engine and transmission is silky-smooth and dependable. It has never failed to start even after several weeks of sitting in a cold garage.
I'm not sure how the Speedmaster got it's name- it's not speedy and it's not the master of anything as far as I can tell.
It's a hundred times classier than a dime-a-dozen Harley and generated comments and attention every time I ride it.
Overall, it's a great bike at a great price.
