  • 2016 Sym HD 200
By  (I am an Owner) on Mar 29, 2022

A well built scooter and yes indeed it likes to hop right off the line from the stop light. Be carefull! Haha.

Only negative for me is what one other reviewer said about the seat. I also find myself (butt) sliding a bit too far forward. I'd like to allow my butt to make fuller ...

Other than the above, this is one hot little scooter and everyone wants to walk up to me and talk about it. That includes a few chicks too.

  • Great machine
By  (I am an Owner) on Aug 10, 2010

I have only been riding 5 or so years. I started with a Majesty 400 and my wife had a Reflex 250. Not knowing how to ride one of these in having a600 ft crushed limestone driveway, casued several untimely dismounts. We downgraded to Honda Ruckus and Metropolitan and learned to ride. The uphill ...

I have owned the HD200 for 3 months and have 2500 miles on it. I love this bike. It is peppier than anything I have owned except the Majesty - but much easier to handle and ride than the Majesty. This is a fun machine that is just as at home on the twisty backroads where I live or on the State Highways in Tennessee. The 16 in wheels are incredible and allow me quicky lean and change direction in the sharp curves around here. I also feel quite stable at 70 or so on the highway.

  • POS
By  (I am an Owner) on Jun 22, 2010

I have a Sym HD200 that I have had about 1.5 years and from the start it has a made an odd rubbing sound like its bottoming out on something. I have removed and checked everything I can find that could rub on anything and can find nothing. I weigh 200 lbs and have had the mech. at the dealer drive ...

which makes you ride with your feet on the ft. shield to keep your but in place. I hate this scooter and I have owned many in my 49 years of riding scooters I have contacted Carter Brothers tech. help, nooooo help. If I could sell this POS with a clear conscience I would but I can't. Any one else have/solve this problem? Thanks RJ

By  (I am an Owner) on Apr 05, 2010

I was a scooter newbie in 2009. I have ridden sport bikes most of my life and a few cruisers. This SYM HD200 scooter has been flawless. It is a sweet little commuter great gas mileage, lower insurance. It is comfortable, flickable and very reliable. I have run her at about about 70-80 mph, but I ...

  • 2009 SYM HD 200 - updated
By  (I am an Owner) on Aug 05, 2009

I ride a 2009 SYM HD200. It has dual disc brakes (new for 2009), also the engine has 4 valves per cylinder, developing 15+ HP. The ceramic lined cylinder adds durability.

It is liquid cooled. The tires are 16", making for a very comfortable and stable ride. It is quick and responsive, handles ...
