Easiest bike to own by far.
By (I am an Owner) on Apr 20, 2015I wanted a Scooter that could easily manage highway speeds with plenty of power to pass, plus maneuverable around town, and could haul a bunch of gear easily for a 2-3 day ride or just a run to the store for a few bags of groceries. The Burgman 650 has been all that and more. It is the easiest maintenance ... bike I've every owned in 35 years of riding. I've added a few things (seat cover, battery tender cable, rear Givi top box, wider Givi windshield, louder horn) but really the bike was fine without them, just more convenient with them. I tried test-riding a Yamaha 400 Majesty, and a Burgman 400 but I wanted more power and two cylinders. I also tried the BMW 650 and just found the Burgman had a bit more comfort for my taste plus Suzuki has over a decade of build experience to work out all the bugs.
