2007 burgman 650 Executive
By (I am an Owner) on Dec 21, 2008I am currently 56 years old and have been riding motorcycles for over 40 years and I have to admit that this bike is the cat's meow!
Plenty of power, clear up to 110 MPH.
Never any problem climbing hills or mountains.
Stealthy quite. The police don't even look at you ... when you speed by.
Wind and weather protection is very good.
There is even a plug in the glovebox for charging your cell phone or powering your GPS.
Good lean angle for riding the twisties.
I rode it through the "Dragon" a few times and had no problem keeping up with everyone except some of the better sportbike riders.
Good MPG. When traveling at less than 50 MPH you can expect over 50 MPG. At freeway speeds, 70-90 MPH, your mileage will suffer and can be as low as 44 MPG.
Great underseat storage. Easily swallows a 12 pack and 3 medium pizzas or two full-faced helmets, gloves and tool kit.
The ABS brakes and the power windshield are well worth the extra money over the standard 650.
I have driven this scoot more than 16,000 miles in 9 states and parts of Canada and have taken several 700+ mile one day trips with it.
I am retired so all of my riding is for pleasure. I usually ride 2-3 hundred miles a day when I ride.
