BANDIT 1250-S
By (I am an Owner) on May 26, 2010AFTER BEING REAR ENDED ON MY OTHER BIKE, I WAS AT THE DEALER WAITING ON AN ESTIMATE. I SAW THE BANDIT ON THE SHOWROOM FLOOR AND AFTER SITTING ON THE BIKE I HAD THE DEALER WORK OUT A TRADE! I ADDED THE SUZUKI HARD BAGS, TRUNK, & FAIRING LOWER..EXCEPT FOR HAND PROTECTION, THIS IS A GREAT SPORT TOURER..THE ... BAGS & TRUNK HOLD A GREAT AMOUNT OF GEAR AND WHEN YOU SET UP CAMP OR GET TO YOUR ROOM YOU CAN POP OFF THE BAGS BY INSERTING THE KEY AND PUSHING ONE BUTTON...NOW YOU CAN HIT THE MOUNTAINS..THIS ENGINE IS SO SMOOTH THAT IT RIVALS MY '04 GOLDWING--NO KIDDING...FUEL MILEAGE IS FROM LOW 40'S TO 50 mpg...THERE IS SO MUCH TORQUE AT 3500RPM YOU CAN JUST LEAVE IT IN 3RD GEAR IN THE MOUNTAINS AND JUST ENJOY THE RIDE...SUSPENSION IS DECENT FOR 8/10THS RIDING AND CAN BE SET FOR COMFORT ALSO...ONLY GRIPE WAS THE SEAT IS TOO TALL--I HAD IT CUT DOWN AND A HIGHER DENSITY FOAM USED AND NARROWED THE FRONT OF THE SEAT MAKING IT EASIER AT STOPS....ANYONE OVER 5'7" WON'T HAVE THIS PROBLEM..MINE WAS A "LEFTOVER" 2007 AND I ONLY HAVE 4,000 MILES SO FAR BUT I LOOK FOWARD TO MORE RIDES THIS YEAR ON THE BEST BIKE NOBODY KNOWS ABOUT!!

Very Nice Bike!
By (I am an Owner) on Feb 11, 2010I've owned many bikes, all Suzuki, and have loved them all. The Bandit 1250 is by far the smoothest and easiest to drive bike I've ever driven. Unlike crotch rockets, the power is very smooth and strong from a dead stop. There is no real "take off rpm," but it's still plenty fast. Comfortable ... riding position, but not comfortable seat. Love how quite it is, makes it easier to not get noticed speeding.

Solid, strong bike
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 17, 2008This bike has an awesome engine loads of torque. You wont be downshifting much to pass or with a passenger. You can run it down to 1500 rpms in sixth gera and it takes back up without a gripe.I have genmar risers on mine so I sit straight up im 5'10". I weigh 225 ;bs. and at 75 mph im running around ... 3500 rpms redline at 9500. You cant even hear the bike running at that speed its so quiet. The downside is not alot but its the seat, like alot of bikes. You cant stand it over 45 minutes. It slides you forward and its non supportive and narrow.Overall this is a fine bike for the money and I wouldnt hesitate to buy another one.
