I bought mine used with about 800mi on it. I was in the market for an older model but this was such a great deal, I couldn't pass up.

    I've been riding on & off for about 20yrs with these bikes '92 EX500 > '96 Katana 600 > 2000 R1; and now the K9. All in all, the K9 is a great bike ...

I'm a casual rider and commute 1-2 times a week from Oakland to San Jose. Hwy 880 equals bad road conditions w/ bumper to bumper traffic. K9 is a breeze when "lane sharing" and comfortable on this stretch.

I'm not a extreme rider, no redline, no stunnin, & nothing high risk & un-safe; though still fast enuff to get pulled over. About once a month I go canyon carving. If you're familiar with the SF East Bay, you'll be familiar with this ride. Calaveras (entry at Milpitas) to Niles Canyon to Palomas to Redwood Rd to Oakland Skyline. K9 handles it all with ease and comfort.

As I'm writing this, winter is here and there are great deals out there for used or new. Grab one if you can and prep it for next spring. Only thing on my list is a slip on exhaust!

    Great riding,

    TD

  • 2009 750 is a great machine.
By  (I am an Owner) on Apr 02, 2010

On my 750 for over a year now and am still loving it. I've owned a 2001 gsxr 600. A 2001 R1 and a 2006 R1. I love the new look. Suzuki has always had the really ugly tanks(don't shoot me, just my opinion). But the 09's look great.

I bought the 750 and not another R1 because ...

I would even wager that it would take my 2001 R1(but not the 2006). The 750 has a more cumfy seating position than my other bikes and handles great. Only complant..... the ugly exhaust, pease the lord for Yosh.... Lol. They complete the bike.

    Hi,

this is my first bike, i've been riding dirtbikes for quite awhile now.

the story is that i was about to buy a 2003 kawi ninja 636. couple of my freinds said maybe you should look into buying a gsxer 750. the price range was double. but got talked into it.

    and ...

im still in the brakeing in mode, only got just over 300km on the bike. love to ride it, i got the blue and white model, you have to get the gsxer colors for this bike. all the black ones, mine as well just buy a cbr600 rr..

overall this is a great bike if your a beginer or a advance rider.

    5 thumbs up for suzuki

only thing that is alittle bit shitty,

    the price.

I have owned many motorcycles. After 35 years of street riding. I have found the perfect motorcycle. Handling is fantastic, it accelerates so fast. You believe that you can teleported. The 750 accelerates much faster than the 600! I am very impressed with the 750. I cannot imagine needing ...

Once was a happy R6 rider, but had always secretly wanted the GSXR 750. I sold the R6 and bought a K9 750 and love it. This bike handles like a dream! Coming out of the apex with a handful of throttle and torque for days!!! I love this bike. I am now a Suzuki rider for life.

I was about to purchase the GSXR 600 and my buddies at work talked me out of it, and I am very glad they did. I've this bike for almost a year and am very happywith it. I looked at the liter bike butit was too heavy, this bike is great compromise between the 600 and 1000. It's fast and can pull in ...

I've had this bike for 3 weeks now. Here are some pointers about it:

    Pros:

Far nimbler than my '04 gixxer 750.

Power is alot smoother than the 600.

    The whites styling looks great.

    More comfortable than the competitors.

Brakes feel better than the ...

    Cons:

Don't be too bothered about the mode selector, I stopped using it after a couple of days. It doesn't actually change the enginer map, like the suzuki site says, it only changes the way the throttle works.

Sits on high revs at high cruising speeds.

    Mufler is huge and ugly.

    There is no fuel gauge.

All in all i'm really happy with the bike. It has loads of power and has the most comfortable seating position of any sports bike i've ridden.
