A Experienced riders bike!
By (I am an Owner) on Oct 27, 2020I bought it in 07 with 6000 miles on it. I have been riding for 30+ years. I rode the 05 CBR 1000, 05 Yamaha R1, back to back after owning my gixxer for months. The Honda is deceptively fast and normal honda smooth! The R1 is also fast and easy to handle, no doubt. But for pure speed, acceleration, ... and wild antics the GSXR is the ride to own!! I have had this bike doing a wheelie with the back wheel spinning and jumping on the ground! It slices corners very tight and efforlessly! That is why it won all the bike of the year awards!! This is a bike that can seriously hurt you if you don't know how to ride!! And I do mean KNOW how to ride!! I had 20+ years of experience when I bought it and this bike showed me quite a few things!! You can NOT ride it with worn out tires, or you will have the back tire sliding right to left out of relatively modest corners and will wake you up real quick!! Don't buy this bike, if you don't want to keep fresh rubber on it! It taunts you to go Faaaaaaast all the time!! 100mph is nothing!! On a first gear wheelie, the tire hits the ground at 102. Experienced rider only!!

top notch overall
By (I am an Owner) on Oct 25, 2008I believe along with a lot of other rideers i know.suzuki handles best better as far as tuneing in for overall top performance. i personally enjoy it because of the great acceleration and agility of the bike you control it without any resistance, ive riden yamaha R1 no compareison yet still a fun ... bike not as tight i thought. honda runs bout the closest with the gsxr it surprised me as far as responsive just felt a little loose in back end matter what setting on supension so if you want to experiance and great ride go with suzuki gsxr
