  • great beginer's bike!
By  (I am an Owner) on Mar 30, 2010

My wife and I bought her '07 GZ250 in 2008. It was a demo bike with 900 miles on the odometer. It had low rse handle bars on it and was in excellent shape. The low gearing of the bike instills confidence and is slow enough and stable enough at idle that I can do full lock s-turns in our driveway ...

It is able to carry us both at a tick under 70mph and is happy plugging along anywhere from 45 to 65 miles per hour. I have to fill my ZX-7 up twice compared to her little singe. We have added large saddlebags with Suzuki bag supports and a windscreen.

Her longest ride solo has been a 90 mile round trip to check on one of her clients that had to go out of town.

It handles very well in heavy traffic situations. The style is superb.

It doesn't have a lot of power, it doesn't sound like a cruiser... But what it does do is 75mph, get 48mpg in a headwind, handle well, and ride ...
