  • Great scooter for work
By  (I am an Owner) on Oct 07, 2009

I travel 9 miles to work one way each day. I bought my scooter about 16 months ago and love it! My weight, 210 lbs. probably doesn't help with the gas milage which I average about 60 miles to the gallon or the speed which I have clipped along at 70 mph on the flats, 60 mph on the hills.

    ...

If I don't run it for a week, it does take some time to warm up. Sometimes I have had to use the kick start when I left the lights on all night but then the batter recharges and I'm good to go.

I do not recommend this for highways unless it's a short distance.

  • I love this scooter
By  (I am an Owner) on Jun 07, 2009

I bought this scooter in Feb. and I couldn't wait for the weather to warm up so I could ride it. My husband rides a Harley and we have ridden a few times side by side. We get lots of smiles and waves. I have gotten this scooter to go as fast as 62mph. I ride in the country and don't like to ride ...

  • Well it gets good gas mileage...
    By  (I am a Writer) on Jun 02, 2009

I bought my scooter during the gas crisis last summer.

It gets great gas mileage, but my odometer quit work

a week after I had it.

It took them 3 months to finally get the part in.

Then while riding it last summer at 50 mph, I went to stop

    for a traffic light ...

I burnt the brakes out trying to get it to stop and almost crashed!

SO I take it to the dealership where they also do repairs, and he tells

me "oh,a bolt fell into the carburator and

someone must be trying to do me harm!"

    WTF?????

The carburator is enclosed. No one could get to my scooter as it was

locked inside a garage. It totally turned me off to go to this

    dealership again!

So this is my experience, how about someone else's?
