Awesome Bike
By (I am an Owner) on Oct 19, 2014This bike has that classic cafe racer look from straight out of the mid 60s. I am 5'9". The bike fits me very well. I love the ridding position. For me it is very comfortable. I ride the bike at 60 mph to and from work and out on a nice Saturday morning ride. the bike has enough power to get ... over steeper over passes or to get around a slow moving truck. the quality of the bike is good and the engine is bullet proof. The bike rides well and handles good. The shocks are good. the rear adjustable shots are nice as well. The disc brakes work well with not much fade on twisty hilly roads. Some people may have to get use to the seat. For me it feels good. The bike corners well and is responsive. When you get up above 75 mph there is a bit of a vibration felt thru the handle bars. For me, I'm happy riding the bike around 60 65mph and have not felt any vibrations. With 30 hp stock, this isn't the bike that will make your eyeballs pop out, but is enough power to get you around town nicely. After I put the first 500 miles on the bike I installed the performance up grade. K&N air filter, performance exhaust, and computer chip up grade adds about 10% more power to the bike witch is a small noticeable difference. This bike makes a grate starter bike as well as a nice bike for the experienced rider. The price of the bike along with the prices of the factory offered up grades and accessories make it a grate value. 2 year unlimited mileage warranty is nice to have. the dealer I bought it at said in the 5 years they have been sailing Royal Enfields, they have only had 2 warranty cases. All in all its a grate bike and I would recommend it to other people.
