Legacy 250cc motorcycle
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 20, 2012I had this motorcycle Legacy 250cc since 2008 have over 6k on it without a problem.I have only change the oils on it,sliders for better start-ups from stops. Not to brag but it's faster from stops than most bikes next to me including David's.H.

Honest review
By (I am an Owner) on Jul 27, 2012I wanted a motorcycle, my wife wanted a scooter. This was our compromise.
The quality for the one I bought (used) is good. I was concerned about Chinese-made scooters/bikes, so buying a used one with some miles on it would help to alleviate my concerns. This had just over 2,000 ... miles when we bought it, and so we picked it up.
Some of the reviews I've read online claim 75 mph and 75 mpg. These figures are not correct. I can't say whether this is typical or not, but the speedometer on mine was off by 10mph. Riding with just myself (195 lbs) I could get going just under 60 mph, but the speedometer was telling me I was traveling just under 70 mph. Riding two up yields worse acceleration, but a similar top speed.
Similarly, fuel economy was not as the reviews suggested. I measured just over 52 mpg. This may have been due to riding full-throttle much of the time as I travel on the highway for work. However, this figure is not necessarily accurate as the speedometer (and therefore the odometer) is off: actual mileage may be worse.
The radio is an interesting addition. However, you can't hear it when driving faster than ~30 mph unless it is loud enough to be a nuisance to those around you.
Decent performance only: you'll travel about like you would on a 150cc scooter. But it looks nicer and feels smoother.

I LOVE MY LEGACY
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 07, 2010I have had my Legacy for over 3 years now and love it every bit as much as I did the first time I rode it. I have been through a few batteries, but that was due to my negligence in not putting it on the trickle charger when I was not going to ride it for more than a week. ( Buy from Batteries Plus... ... 1 year warranty). It handles beautifully and is easy to control. I have been asked when I am going to upgrade to a bigger motorcycle.... I am not. I drive around the city of Atlanta on roads with a max speed limit of 45. Not having to shift gears in stop and go traffic is a beautiful thing....

BE CAREFUL OF SERVICE AVAILABILITY
By (I am an Owner) on Mar 08, 2010I HAVE HAD MY LEGACY 250 FOR TWO SEASONS AND I HAVE GONE THROUGH THREE BATTERIES. IT IS FRUSTRATING BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN THE THIN IS GOING TO DIE. I PURCHASED IT BECAUSE I LIKED THE LOOKS OF IT, AS IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE OR RIDE LIKE A SCOOTER AND THAT WAS THE REASON I PURCHASED. MY ADVISE ... WOULD BE PURCHASE LOCAL AND PURCHASE A BRAND NAME. THERE IS NO ONE IN MY AREA THAT WILL SERVICE THE QLINK BECAUSE IT CHINESE AND THERE IS SOMETHING INVOLVING THE SERVICE REGULATIONS. ANYWAY, BUY A BRAND NAME, SPEND A LITTLE MORE BUT HAVE THE COMFORT OF KNOWING THAT IT WILL RUN AND IF IT NEEDS SERVICE YOU CAN HAVE IT FIXED.

Good for the money for first time riders
By (I am an Owner) on Feb 24, 2009I purchased my Legacy in the summer of 2006. Great little commuter around town. Very light! Do not suggest taking on highways as big trucks will have their way with you. Can't beat the fuel efficiency (we got >70 MPG). I had a similar problem with the battery as well, replaced after 6 months. Also ... had to replace the head light bulb 3 times in two years($10 a pop from dealer). You may also want to be aware that it easily rusts around foot pegs, chrome on exhaust may flake off due to heat, and guages may stop working(fuel gauge in my case). The seat could also be more comfy. Radio is nice touch. Definietly upgrade to the halogen head lamp kit sold online (Google it). Otherwise parts are few and far between if you are looking to get them from somebody else besides the dealer. All in all, if you live somewhere you can ride this thing for more than 5 months out of the year it is definietly worth it for a couple of years of awesome fuel efficiency.

mY q-lINK THE sILVER fOX
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 30, 2008I purchased my Q-Link late summer and I love this bike . It's sleek and with it being an automatic it's right up mt alley.Didn't have to worry about learning to shift gears.
The only thing that I disliked was the battery warrenty. It is only for 30 days. My battert went out on the 32nd day ... (what a bummer) and it is difficult and pricy to replace. I hope no other parts are hard to find.
