2007 KYMCO Xciting 250

I bought one 6 months ago with 7000 miles. Changed fluids and took off. It has been a joy to log the last 3800 miles. I loved it so much I just traded up to a xciting 500 ri. I can not wait.

I've had the Xciting 250 for about a month, and I've put 200 miles on it (700 miles total on it). It rides well. Strong acceleration. I haven't completed the 1,000 miles of break in. So I haven't taken it above 50 mph. Theres a slight vibration when I start getting that speed. People tell me ... it's probably not the motor, but tires, or something like that. I've not gotten the 60 mpg I'd hoped for, but I'm told mileage increases once it's broken in. The mph part of the odometer is hard to read for my 50 something eyes. I stand 6'3" and it's a comfortable ride for someone my size. My 5'8" daughter has to stand on tiptoes when the bike is stopped. The underseat storage fits my fullface medium helmet, with a little bit of room left for a handtowel or something. All in all, I'm enjoying the scooter.
