    I have just purchased a new 2008 990 Adventure.Took it off road and was surprised at the throttle response.Does anyone know of a way to calm it down?When you inadvertantly tweak the throttle going over a rough surface it can get out of shape due to the fierce throttle response.Other than that,a seriously ...

    Revy motor. Linear power. Great Mid range torque. Feels like a race everytime you get on it, city or country... which is a good or bad thing depending on your needs. Very confident off road and more than capable on. Just get a new seat and you're good to go. Also, try and remember it's 500 motorcycle ...
